 AUDIO/VIDEO SYSTEMS DESIGNER

 


Responsibilities:

 Design and diagram complete systems, including home theater, home automation, distributed audio, CATV, DSS, network, and telephone systems.Provide engineering support to Installation and Project managers.Investigate and recommend new and emerging technologies.

 

 

Qualifications:

 Organized.Minimum of two years in the A/V industries or related field or schooling and with a minimum of one year (or a combination) in the field of programming in relation to lighting control, automation and/or AutoCad design.Must have an understanding of installation techniques and product specifications of audio/video and home automation products.Must have a thorough understanding of computer systems and networks.Must have good communications and writing skills.Proven ability to complete tasks according to a timeline, with minimal direct supervision. Experience with D-Tools design software preferred. Mandatory overtime may be assigned during particularly busy weeks or during periods of Company growth.
