Are  you a BSEE that knows something about project management or are willing to learn?  Can you effectively communicate ideas and actions to other engineers?  Do you enjoy taking control of a project from start to finish while meeting critical time lines?  Are you detail oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously?  If you are answering 'yes' to these questions, then we would like to speak to you.  We are an LCD company located in Southern California searching for an engineer that has the drive and determination to be successful.  You will interact with the engineering staff of both our customers domestically and our factories in Asia.  You will assist in developing product designs and drive these projects through completion.In addition, you will be responsible for addressing engineering, manufacturing, quality, and shipping issues with some light business development.

 

 

Qualifications:

? Technical degree in electrical engineering, physics, or similar discipline.

? Minimum of 3 years experience in an engineering field.

? The drive and determination to be successful.

? Self starter and capable of foreseeing issues before they become problems.

? Experience or understanding of technical manufacturing and/or sales.

? Experience or understanding of LCD's or modules.

? An understanding of project management and the design-in process is desirable.

? Requires understanding of sales and engineering software.

? Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is desirable.

 

Job responsibilities

? Assist in product development and interpreting customer applications.

? Evaluate customer requirements from supplied drawings.

? Provide follow up support and technical feedback on specific applications.

? Identify the tasks and timelines required to achieve the project objective.

? Provide technical support and expertise on pricing.

? Provide technical support and expertise to company sales staff.

? Work with Sr. Management to minimize the risk of non-performance.

? Ensure a quality product is produced in a timely manner.

? Assist in expediting specific projects and identifying production issues.

? Assist in identifying the proper product for customer design requirements.

? Identify and evaluate second source factories.

? Participate in new product development.

? Evaluate quality issues and expedite factory corrective actions.
