JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking technician/engineer with experience in component technology, databases and data entry. Will be responsible for reviewing and researching supplier initiated component changes and processing the associated change control notices through the ERP (PRISM) database. Desirable Skills Familiarity with electronic component types Knowledge of electronic component suppliers Computer application skills (Excel, Word, ASPECT, general database knowledge, Oracle)

 

Person will be required to analyze bills of materials (BOM & apos?s) of assembled circuit boards, gather specification of individual components, and analyze the specifications to extract information about plating, package dimensions, and other information. Skills: Candidate should have electronic component engineering skills and be comfortable with component engineering terminology. Ability to read electronic component specifications and extract information. Knows how to read engineering drawings, dimensions, notes, etc. Familiarity with technologies, & plating alloys used in electronic components. Comfortable with using component engineering software and navigating part database systems. Able to research component information through the internet and by contacting component vendors directly. Person should have personal initiative and be able to work independently towards goals. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word required.

 

ASSIGNMENT LENGTH:

3 Months

 

PRIMARY CANDIDATE:

● Experience in component technology

● Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word required

● Bachelors Degree in related field
