Job Description:

The Custom Sales Specialist will maximize personal sales of custom designed audio/video systems to potential or existing clients through lead follow up, special events, and personal contact with builders and other referrals.  The prospective employee will sell and demonstrate the system, provide labor quotes, and execute proper follow through to complete the transaction and relative paperwork. This person will also oversee all details necessary to ensure complete satisfaction for the customer, as well as all other parties involved, from conception to the final transaction.

 

Responsibilities:

? Follows up on generated leads to develop sales.

? Interviews and qualifies custom installation prospects in the store, or at the customer?s home or office to determine their objectives

? Designs a system based upon the customer?s needs

? Generates proposals for the systems

? Makes presentations based upon proposals and customer?s needs

? Works with the store manager to ensure that all custom related displays are maintained so as to reinforce the capabilities of the Pioneer retail store and to ensure best possible demonstration.

? Ensures the customer receives prompt follow-up and follow though in order to maximize the prospect of the closing the sale.

? Supervises field progress of orders placed

? Follows up with customers and builders to ensure proper scheduling in person or by phone.

? Informs customer/builder of imminent or possible delays or changes in schedules.

? Follows up with customers after completion of installation to ascertain their level of satisfaction and coordinates any additional services needed to remedy any concerns.

? Participates in all designated special events such as home shows, or other custom related functions as scheduled by Pioneer with the purpose of generating sales leads.

? Participates in the creativity of designing displays and methods to best communicate the capabilities of the Pioneer retail store.

? Responsible for keeping informed, educated and updated, on new and changing product and installation methods.

 

Qualifications:

? High School diploma or equivalent

? Minimum of 2 years experience in Sales, Interior Design experience a plus

? Must have the ability to relate to the clients needs, and in turn, be able to recommend the Pioneer product(s) to close the sale

? Must have a strong desire to sell Pioneer Electronics home theater solutions.

? Must be service oriented and provide first class customer service

? Must be ethical and have exceptional communication skills as well as presentation skills

? Must be goals oriented and have the ability to meet or exceeds them on a consistent basis.

? Must possess a valid state issued drivers license

? Occasional travel involved, less than 30%
