Engineering Technician , Test Validation Military Aerospace Connectors

Orange County based developer and manufacturer of Electronic Connectors for Aerospace, Military, and Industrial product applications has immediate need for experienced Engineering Test Technician to perform the qualification or validation testing of connector interface products.  Employ appropriate test methodologies to identify the presence of common interface functional problems, and pro-actively work with appropriate personnel to resolve the issues.  Maintain written test records associated with interface product validation efforts.  Perform part-level and assembly level inspection of critical interface components in support of troubleshooting efforts.  Manipulate, evaluate and communicate test data in various Microsoft products i.e. Excel spreadsheet form.

 

Requires 3 plus years test experience, military /aerospace connector, manufacturing or test environment is preferred.  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.  Familiarity with precision measurement and inspection tools, some familiarity with electrical circuits, schematics and measurements.  Effective verbal and written communications skills, basic computer skills including: Windows and Windows XP operating systems, Word, and Excel. is preferred.  Experience in mechanical assembly (disassembly) of intricate/sensitive components.  Comfortable working with test equipment and customer-owned property.  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
