Information Security Engineer

Key Role: Serve as a senior security engineer focusing on mobile and wireless security and security architecture and engineering initiatives. Act as an IA architecture and engineering SME, manage multiple projects, and support Booz Allen capability and market development activities. Serve as the information assurance lead providing an integrated IA systems solution for the prime system integrator. Lead the development and integration of the IA architectural design in support of major system development. Complete risk analysis, cost trades, and performance, reliability, and security impact analysis on the appropriate IA products, systems, and policies for the target system. Interact directly with clients at numerous levels to provide program management guidance and support.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:

-9+ years of experience with system security, security architecture, network security engineering, or secure network system development
-Experience with federal DoD security architecture, policy, and engineering 
-Experience as a senior security architect or engineer responsible for identifying and quickly resolving issues on complex programs

-Knowledge of cryptographic fundamentals

 

Education/Certifications or equivalent required:

BS degree in EE, CS, or Computer Engineering required; MS degree preferred

 

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
