Summary:      The position is responsible for setting up system testing, executing test plans, and data collection. The candidate needs to understand basic electronic circuitry. The candidate conducts technical, laboratory investigations, and field tests of electrical and electronic components and systems.

 

Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:      1?2 years experience working in an electronics development and test lab. ? Trouble shooting, requires strong verbal and written communications skills to initiate setting up and conducting tests and completing related data reporting. Knowledge of test instrumentation used in electronic hardware testing including the use of voltmeters and oscilloscopes. ? Ability to read schematics and overall understanding of electronic circuitry. Familiarity with associated test equipment ? Some understanding of thermal stress testing is also useful. ? Accountable, self-starter who works well with others in a team environment. Experience with power electronics ? Knowing how a computer works. Collecting data using good measurement techniques ? Experience with oscilloscopes, and MS Excel for data collection and analysis.

 

Education/Certification:      Requires Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
