Parts Coordinator - Electronics

 

Using ISO 9000 standards, the Parts Coordinator will be mainly will be responsible to analyze and plan parts locations by; product, (A, B, C) ranking for Digital, Appliance, Analog or other specified products.  Parts locations must be in direct support of fast and efficient picking.  Parts must be arranged on racks to support the latter.  May require the use of logical overflow areas.

 

Will also be required to perform warehouse general office and administrator duties.

 

Duties to include but not limited to:Analyze parts flow to determine efficiency and speed of picking to meet same day ship requirements of at least 90%.Submit recommendations to change any parts locations and racking to meet above requirements.Maintain open communication with warehouse staff and other departments.Identify spares problems and recommend solutions.Keep up-to date with; ISO standards and Company Policy and Procedure.Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required by management.Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate receiving, invoice payment, and to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.Maintain spares supplies per budget and generate purchase requisitions as needed.Other duties as required by management

 

The successful candidate will have:Experience with ISO 9000 and Mil-Spec Standards.Minimum High School Education, College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.PC literate and familiar with the following software; Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio or comparable e.g., Coral Draw etc., and Internet/email experience.Quick to adapt to company IT System e.g.; M System and RF Navigator.
