Quality Assurance Inspector

Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of test measurement and inspection tasks on incoming electrical, electronic and mechanical components (data review and visual inspection). Assure that test reports, data and other applicable documents are complete and in accordance with specification and purchase order requirements. Detect and alert engineering staff of nonconforming material and/or data. Perform minor rework processes, such as lead straightening, solder dipping, part cleaning, part marking, etc.

Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of MIL Specifications and associated Test Methods for electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical components used in spacecraft applications. General knowledge of electronic and mechanical theory. General knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.

Typical Requirements:
Five years experience working in quality inspection, primarily with spacecraft level, high reliability, electronic components.
