Quality Inspector, Printed Circuit Board Assembly

 

OVERVIEW:

A strong growing Contract Electronics Manufacturing Services company is seeking a Printed Circuit Board Assembly Quality Inspector with the ability to make decisions independently, be detail-oriented, organized and handle multiple tasks. Must be knowledgeable in SMT and thru-hole assembly processes, MIL/IPC standards, reading of drawings and parts lists.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

REQUIRED:High School graduate or GED, minimum.Minimum 2 years direct experience in PCBA inspection using magnifiers and gauges in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.Able to read prints & drawings, and BOM parts lists in order to perform First Article visual & mechanical inspections.Read, write and speak English with a high degree of proficiency.Able to work overtime, as needed.

 

PREFERRED:Knowledge of ESD precautions.Knowledge of Class 3 workmanship requirements.PCB (bare board) inspection experience.Adept with email & Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, others).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Inspect PCB parts and assemblies for workmanship.Audit the Quality Management System, factory, and processes for compliance.Collect various data and metrics.Perform various inspection, test, measurement and audit tasks, and other reasonable duties as may be requested.
