RF/Electrical Engineer

The Rf/Electrical Engineer will execute the electrical design, characterization, troubleshoot procurement of digital and analog circuits (DC to 10GHz), for optoelectronic modules and transceivers.  This includes:

 

- Evaluation and specification of analog IC's

- RF signal integrity design and test

- EMI/electrical crosstalk design and evaluation

- DC control circuits and video amp circuitry

 

Additional responsibilities include:

 

- Interface with customers and marketing to determine product specifications

- Interface with test engineering to develop production test procedures and fixturing

- Document design and transfer to manufacturing

 

Essential Job Requirements:

 

- Solid background in high speed analog electronic circuits, PCB layouts techniques, circuit simulation, as
well as RF characterization techniques and equipment.

- Self-managed, with project management skills and experience.

- Knowledge of common electronic packaging techniques and a working knowledge and PIN photodiodes is
also a plus.

- Self-motivated team player, well organizaed, and with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

 

Education/Experience:

 

The minimum requirements for this position are a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, and three (3) years work experience in the field.
