Repair Technician (Measuring and Test Equipment)

Description: Repair and maintenance of customer and TechMaster owned M & TE (Measuring and Test Equipment).

 

Technical Responsibilities:

 

?  Repair instrumentation proficiently to the corresponding quality level.

?  Interpret technical drawings from manufacturer?s documentation.

?  Maintain and support, ISO 17025, and other applicable quality standards.

?  Insure Quality standards are met and coordinated with the QA Manager.

 

Communications Responsibilities:

 

?  Communicate effectively with customer technical and administrative personnel on repair issues and quotes.

?  Present a professional attitude and qualified level of experience with customers.

?  Enter equipment information into associated maintenance database.

 

Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

?  High school graduate

?  Minimum 5 years direct experience.

?  General working knowledge of all areas of repair.

?  High reliability soldering skills.

?  Full knowledge of microwave test equipment repair to component level.

?  Knowledge of oscilloscopes, counters, distortion analyzers, hi-pots, and other general purpose test equipment.

?  Capable of performing full alignment in accordance with manufacturer's test and adjustment procedures.

?  Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently and effectively in the English language.

?  Able to read and interpret documents, technical drawings, and apply basic physics and math formulas.
