SENIOR EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER/ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Writes embedded programs for system products using 'C' and Assembly;Lead projects;Creates Visual Basic programs;Assists on hardware design;Writes product specifications and test requirements;Supports design through all phases of development, i.e., this includes design for EMC, manufacturability, prototype testing and validation;Communicates with agencies such as UL, CSA, etc.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

 Solid academic background (BS in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent)A minimum of 5 years in design and development of embedded products;Work experience in C and Assembly language;Background in analog and digital circuits a plus; enthusiasm for discrete circuit design appreciated;Experience on 8 and 16 bit microcontrollers;Background in net work protocols a plus;Basic knowledge of PCB layout;Experience in UL, CSA, FCC listings is a plus;Must have hands-on ability to do prototypes;Must have good test and trouble shooting skills;Must have good communication skills;Self-driven and willing to acquire new skills and grow in the position;Must be able to follow direction of the company and abide by company policies.
