Senior Export Coordinator Needed for Large Electronics Company!

Kimco, one of the nation's largest and most respected independent staffing firms, currently seeks a Senior Export Coordinator for a well known Tustin company. This individual will be responsible for export/import documentation and rate negotiation activities from/to South East Asian countries, South America, and Europe.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (include the following, but are not limited to)
Import Ocean shipments for CTO, clearing approximately 250-350 containers per month.
Duties include posting to import journal, filing shipper, and issuing A/N from carrier to consignee and broker.
Negotiate all Exporting Ocean freight and air rate with carrier/vendor and maintain the rate list.
Arrange all Export booking and documentation.
Record House Bill number, submit AES & dock receipts, and fax to shipping companies before the estimated time of departure.
Coordinate with staff, shipping companies, custom broker, trucking companies, etc.
Coordinate and organize business project for each department.
Process vendors invoice for payment.
Maintain and continuously update internal procedures.
Manage Import/Export monthly reports.
Monthly reports should include the summary of sales figures, costs and profits.
Assist management in various projects where needed.
Assist and oversee Import Coordinator's job responsibility when needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
BA Degree with Business Administration
Minimum 15 years experience in customer service, shipping and order processing
Knowledge of Import/Export regulations is highly preferred
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
AS400 experience
Ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers
Fluent in English, bilingual helpful
Able to deal with a heavy work flow
Ability to multi-task
