Salary: $44,000 to $47,000 Negotiable

Location: Torrance

 

Summary:

Coordinates the layout and manual organization, following Company guideline .

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinates the layout and manual organization, following Company guidelineAcquires and organizes basic source material, including applicable specifications, engineering specifications, and drawing packages. Assesses documentation requirements for release documentation, schedule resources, review drafts, and ensure documentation is finished when development is complete. Writes various documentation for consumer electronics and / or somewhat complex products.

 

Qualifications: Requires an understanding of and experience with manufacturers? production process, requires a minimum of 3 years hardware documentation experience; experience with a variety of Consumer electronics, Televisions, DVD players, VCR, DVD recorders LCD Displays is a plus. Background in consumer electronics, PC industry, or e-commerce software is preferred. Experience developing and writing end user and technical manualsRequires a good understanding of hardware development lifecycleMust have excellent and proven verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with developers, non-technical managers, operations, and end users.Very good computer skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word is a must.

 

Education and/or Experience:

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English or Journalism, (AA, AS, BA or BS) from two or four-year college or university or equivalent technical writing experience.
