Job Description

Perform evaluation/testing on automotive satellite based information products, and report results.

 

Responsibilities:

 

? Perform detailed evaluation of automotive vehicle information systems including navigation.

? Prepare written reports of verification, failure modes, and functionality of on bench testing and road trip evaluations

? Interface with customers and design team

? Assist with scheduling of tests and coordinate timing with internal and external stakeholders

? Benchmark various competitive vehicle information system features, performance, packaging, and cost

? Arrange and coordinate necessary equipment and vehicles for evaluation

? Installation of prototype/OEM information systems components

? Prepare and present technical material and engineering reports to automotive customers

 

Qualifications: 

 

? BS or Associates Degree from an accredited college or university majoring in

  Electronics/Computer Engineering

? 2 or more years of experience in an Engineering discipline.

? Working knowledge of embedded software

? Working knowledge of electronic test equipment

? Must be able to work in a team oriented environment

? Exceptional written and oral communication

? Excellent customer service and problem solving skills essential

? 25 % travel required
