Account Representative
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Perform sales and customer service activities for an assigned territory. Maintain and expand the existing client base by ensuring exceptional service and providing appropriate problem resolution. Develop and acquire new clients in accordance with the sales and marketing plan. Meet or exceed established financial goals in accordance with the sales and marketing plan. Responsible for pricing, invoicing and collections of client accounts.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
1.
Make weekly outside sales calls to maintain and expand the client base.
2.
Develop a list of targeted new accounts in accordance with sales and marketing initiatives.
3.
Schedule appointments to deliver formal presentations to communicate the features and benefits of utilizing Remedy services to meet client needs. Utilize the client needs assessment tools to develop an appropriate service design for each client.
4.
Support actively and execute corporate marketing promotions.
5.
Respond to clients? needs and requirements.
6.
Maintain an ongoing record of client sales activities.
7.
Maintain a database of all competitive data, including: market share, service reputation, quality reputation, temporary benefits, pay rates, and bill rates.
8.
Sell all Remedy services, including traditional temporary help and alternative staffing solutions.
9.
Perform facility tours to ensure acceptable safety standards for all work assignments.
10.
Participate in networking groups for the purpose of name awareness.
11.
Participate in job fairs and recruiting fairs when required.
12.
Meet or exceed established sales performance and key performance initiative standards.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Knowledge of sales strategies and techniques necessary to expand client base. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Strong customer service focus to maintain and service existing client accounts. Able to prioritize tasks to meet individual and business goals. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the staffing industry. Possess excellent written and communication skills. Must be computer literate and have familiarity with at least one word processing and one spreadsheet software (preferably WORD and EXCEL).
Education:
A four-year college degree is desirable.
Experience:
1.
A four-year college degree or two to four years of full-time work experience in selling relationship building services is REQUIRED.
2.
Possess a proven track record in retail or volume sales, as evidenced by increased responsibility and promotions.
