Staffing Specialist

Job Description We currently have an opening for a talented individual to fill the role of a Bilingual Staffing Specialist in our?Placentia, Ca?branch.? In this position, you will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of customer service to our customer and temporary employees by recruiting and matching their skills to the customer?s job requirements.

?

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, professional environment, where large volume recruitment and interviewing is constant, preferably in a clerical, repetitive work environment. BILINGUAL IN SPANISH IS PREFERRED.

?

Job Duties & Daily Functions:

- Carries out such functions as identifying qualified applicants, conducting screening interviews, administering tests, checking references, and evaluating applicant qualifications.

- Hires qualified temporary employees and establishes appropriate pay rates for temporary employees based on skills, abilities, and experience.?

- Makes job offer to employee explaining full job description, term of assignment, pay rate, benefits.

- Obtains complete and accurate information from customers placing job orders and matches best temporary employee to the customer job order. May quote and explain bill rates to current and prospective customers within regional guidelines.

- Determines appropriate customer placement of qualified employees (may be through skill marketing) and conducts basic employee orientation.

- Monitors employee activity at customer, e.g. track attendance, performance, etc.

- Maintains current, accurate data in the computer of customer activity and employee inventory.?

- Completes quality control procedures including check-in calls and follow-up calls on completed job orders.?

- Completes accurate payroll processing for temporary employees.

- Counsels employees and handles conflict resolution with employee or customer.

- Adheres to all branch standard operating procedures.

- Follows and communicates all safety rules and regulations as established by Staffmark to employees.

- Ensures worker?s compensation claims are properly filed.?

- Under the supervision of management, will counsel employees and handle conflict resolution.?

- Conducts employee quality surveys as needed.?

- Develops positive relationships with current and potential customers and employees.

- Makes cold call telephone contacts to prospective customers to identify potential staffing needs and set appointments for sales calls. Performs telephone marketing and recruiting in order to identify suitable temporary employees for current and prospective customers.

- Represents the company in a professional manner at various professional, academic, and/or civic activities as requested.??

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

?

Computer Skills/ Languages:

Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, and Internet. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
