Contract Manager - Tier II - HYDRO

Penpower is currently seeking candidates with a superb and exemplary background in Construction Management, specifically in the power plant industry.

Successful candidates must posses the following skills for consideration:

Education/ Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, or higher, in engineering, business administration or equivalent position related degree.

Five to ten years experience negotiating complex commercial contract terms and conditions or executing such contracts including negotiating and executing settlement agreements. Contract management experience associated with large industrial/power generation facilities including design and build ventures, teaming agreements, arbitration and consortium's is preferred.

Experience with consortium's, or teaming agreements, significant dispute resolution experience including arbitration, knowledge of All Risk Builders Risk (ARBR) insurance and insurance claim settlements, is also preferred.

Special Skills (Including Computer Hardware/Software):
General knowledge of business application computer software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint).


Position Responsibilities/ Description, etc.:
Negotiate complex commercial terms and conditions in the installation of large industrial or power generation facilities, including design and build ventures. Formulate and execute claims management and dispute resolution settlement strategies; development contractual analysis and prepare and deliver effective claim rebuttal presentations at senior business levels using state of the art computer technology, able to negotiate and settle complex disputes including writing contractual settlement language and executing settlement agreements. Use of communication and negotiation skills and ability to excel in a team environment. Experience with consortium's or teaming agreements, dispute resolution processes including arbitration, knowledge of All Risk Builders Risk (ARBR) insurance and obtaining insurance claim settlements.

This is a long-term, full time position which offers a comprehensive benefit package. Salary is based on experience.
