Energy Services Construction Project Manager - Southwest US region
Recognized as 2006 Emerging ESCO of the Year, AMERESCO, Inc. holds new opportunities for experienced Managers to join our Engineering and Construction Team leading the final design, construction and successful implementation of multi-million dollar energy savings projects throughout the southwest US region. These projects include performance contracting, end-use supply agreements and new technology applications in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Engineering and Construction team in project design and development including scope, subcontractor selection, capital cost, installation estimating, and project scheduling. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to assure competitive cost, best schedule and delivery for all project-related equipment, supply installations, and construction services. Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality control and project delivery on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Foster effective customer, subcontractor, and vendor relationships at multiple levels and project phases.Provide ongoing project status updates with all parties throughout design and construction. Evaluate technologies and equipment; recommend most suitable for each application.Provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration.Manage project expenditures and job cost accounting processes: including accuracy, documentation, approvals, payment reporting, and tracking. Perform other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, construction project management, or related field. Minimum 5 years? energy services related engineering or construction project management experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships. Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills. U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.Valid Drivers? License issued by state of residence and in good standing. May be required to pass security clearance investigation.May require on-call response and travel.
