Manager - Fuel Processing/Utility 78-85 K/yr

Great opportunity for an ASSISTANT FUEL PROCESSING MANAGER for a well-respected firm in south FLORIDA. Requires Associate Degree or higher from a two-year college or university or equivalent experience and seven to ten years experience power related fuel processing and handling.

Position will assist Fuels Processing Manager in administration, maintenance and financial activities of fuel processing system and compliance with appropriate state and federal regulations, licenses and permits. Will ensure that corporate directives, policies and procedures and contractual commitments are communicated to employees, are implemented and are achieved; staffing, procedures and controls exist to permit operations within contractual and permit limits; manage day-to-day activities of direct reports and their staff, and daily interface activities with customers and governmental agencies; reviews commercial, financial and operations reports to ensure plant staff is operating the facility in compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and contractual/corporate commitments; establishes long-range plans for developing subordinates and improving operations and maintenance of plant equipment and facility; ensures that safety and training programs are developed and followed in all phases of operations; and maximize profitability and availability from operation of the facility; and establishes and measures performance against broad-based financial and nonfinancial goals and objectives of facility.
