Operations Manager - Power Plant/Operations 85-100 K/yr

Client is looking for Sr. Operations Supervisors with 10+ years of power plant operations experience on oil fired, coal fired or combined cycle power plants.
You will provide leadership and supervision in the start-up, shutdown, operation, and maintenance of all plant equipment including, boilers, turbines, electric generators and associated equipment. You will ensure safe, profitable, and environmentally compliant plant operation. You will be responsible to coordinate the daily and outage related work required to maintain unit availability. Coordinate the operation of the generating units with the Trading Floor. You are expected to establish high standards for associates and provide leadership and motivation by training, appraising, coaching, counseling, rewarding and disciplining associates. You need a Stationary Engineers license (Blue Seal) and must be able to obtain an acceptable score on the First Line Supervisors test unless presently a First Line Supervisor who has continuously supervised maintenance or operating personnel for a minimum of twelve months.
