Description: Operations Technician (Gas Turbine) Location: Plant Oleander- Cocoa Beach, Florida
Summary of Position Duties
We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Operations Technician for our combined cycle/simple cycle power plants in the greater Orlando, Florida area. Selected candidates for this position will be responsible for operating a combined cycle/simple cycle power plant. Other duties will include monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing the plant's electrical and mechanical equipment.
Job Experience and Education
Previous power plant, turbine, or boiler experience is preferred. The successful candidate must have a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication and problem solving skills are needed for this position as well as the ability to be a team player. Candidates must be able to support a 24x7 work schedule including holidays and overtime when necessary.
