Procurement Supervisor-Construction-Permanent

Permanent in NC - relocation offered.

 

This professional will be responsible for execution of medium to large EPC projects or a portion of a larger project. This position is responsible to the Project Director. This individual will directly supervise the project team and coordinate the engineering, procurement, construction and startup functions. This individual will support the firm's vision, mission, values and strategic objectives and communicate them to all Energy project personnel.  This individual has profitability and client satisfaction responsibility for assigned projects and will develop the project performance goals and lead project performance reviews for his assigned projects.  This individual will take the lead role in negotiations with the client on change orders or other matters relating to the client relationship. This individual will implement their assigned portion of the project in accordance with the business units Project Management execution standard Practices and the Construction Execution Guides.  This individual will review and evaluate subordinate managers. 

 Qualifications 

 This individual will have demonstrated successful results directing several projects or significant portions of projects.  This individual will have experience in at least one of the execution areas of management including engineering, procurement, construction, or start-up on projects. This individual must be able to act with the future in mind as well as the present.  This individual must be able to delegate authority effectively and achieve high results.  This individual must be able to participate in and assist in the creation of effective teams and must be able to communicate effectively to influence the organization and be persuasive with Clients.  Individual must be knowledgeable in project controls and manage good overall business acumen.  Requires a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or construction related field from either an ABET accredited program in the USA or an engineering program -
