POSITION TITLE: Engineering Data Warehouse Project Manager LOCATION: Various -Houston, TX, Huntsville, Al or Pacific NorthwestEDUCATION:  Education: B.S. in Civil, Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology required  Experience in AEC, EPC, Process Plant, Design, Business or CIS COMPANY BACKGROUND Bentley Systems, Incorporated provides software for the life cycle of the world's infrastructure. With revenues in excess of $300 million, Bentley is the leading provider of AEC software to the Engineering News-Record Design 500 and major owner-operators. DESIRABLE TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: v Project management or technical consulting experiencev 10  years experience in supporting technical applications or software implementationsv Experience with 2D/3D design applications a PLUSv Supervisory experience preferredv Strong communication skills in technical concepts for clients, proposals, and customer problem resolutionv Detailed and creative problem solver v Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal skills  PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The eWarehouse Consultant is responsible for the performance of all functions necessary to implement and deliver on major projects involving the Engineering Data Warehouse to key client accounts. (10% Project and Client Management; 90% Functional). The services are expected to be performed with enthusiasm, a proactive approach and in a quality manner are as follows but not limited to: v Support the development of Implementation Plans for each Account assigned.v Billable consulting hours to ongoing projects that could span several months up to 2-3 years in duration.v Ability to work at customer site as required for project implementation.v Work closely with clients on development of an overall implementation strategy to achieve the customer objectives and facilitate integration into the engineering and systems environments. This would include data hierarchy, application of rules based methodologies, detail work with databases, report generation and ongoing support for major project deliverables.v High level engagement of projects undertaken at customer sites to ensure success.  Ability to determine needs of project teams and deliver value added solutions utilizing the eWarehouse technologies. v Overcoming cultural and political barriers at accounts through project performance, customer education and reviewing customer deliverable successes.v Prioritizing product needs and bug fixes with the account and working closely with Product Development.v Identification of goals that are aligned with business/organizational initiatives,  objectives and trends that leverage Bentley Systems? strengths.v Definition, resourcing & support of scheduling to milestones that support objectives defined above. DESIRED PERFORMANCE TRAITS INITIATIVE:  Able to bring about great results from ordinary circumstances; prepare for problems or opportunities in advance; transform leads into productive business outcomes; undertake additional responsibilities and respond to situations as they arise without supervision.  LEADERSHIP: Able to assume a role of authority as necessary; advocate new ideas, even when risk is involved; set an example for coworkers; delegate responsibility and empower associates to make decisions; provide constructive feedback to others.INFLUENCE & PERSUASION: Able to convince others in both positive or negative circumstances; use tact when expressing ideas or opinions; present new ideas to authority figures; adapt presentations suit a particular audience; respond to objections successfully.RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:  Able to develop rapport with others and recognize their concerns and feelings; build and maintain long-term associations based on trust; help others.  Ability to be a strong team player and communicate effectively among a diverse work team in multiple locations.PLANNING, PRIORITIZING, AND GOAL SETTING: Able to prepare for emerging customer needs; manage multiple projects; determine project urgency in a meaningful and practical way; use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans; organize and schedule people and tasks.
