SEA WATER DESALINATION PLANTS SUPERVISOR

We are a long established leading desalination company seeking to employ a highly qualified technician for the position of Supervisor of Operation and Maintenance of thermal desalination plants.

 

Among his/her duties will be:Supervision of operation of several plants. Supervision of the maintenance of the plants. Periodical writing of technical reports. Supervision of PM?s. Spare parts inventory management (including procurement). Chemical inventory management. Relations with the owner?s personnel.

 

Qualifications:

 

Position requires at least eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in the operation and maintenance of large sea water thermal desalination plants, and progressively responsible experience (which includes a minimum of three years supervisory experience) in sea water thermal desalination as well as equipment maintenance.

 

?  Knowledge of and practical experience involving operation of low temperature thermal desalination plants.

?  Knowledge of and practical experience involving maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment utilized in steam and water generation.

?  Knowledge of and practical experience involving operation and maintenance of field instrumentation and control.

?  Computer literacy (e-mail, Excel, Word).

?  Skill in interpreting technical reports and providing solutions for reported problems, and preparing, presenting and explaining technical data.

?  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all concerned during the course of work.
