Scheduler

Job Responsibilities

The scheduler is responsible for the development of schedules for day-to day maintenance activities as well as for system outages, refueling and maintenance outages. Prepares and analyzes daily work schedules to optimize equipment availability and manpower usage. This position also updates and publishes daily work schedules and monitors progress.

 

Develop and maintain refueling and on line schedules using station scheduling software. Coordinate with appropriate work groups and departments to identify and include in the plant schedules activities, logic ties, resource requirements, estimated durations, and other relevant information necessary to produce high level schedules and detailed working schedules.

 

Participate in outage HIT teams and on line project teams as assigned.

 

The Scheduler can be called upon to work extended hours and/or backshifts as needed to support refueling outages and other plant activities.

 Experience

A minimum of 5 years nuclear power plant experience required in maintenance, I&C, operations, engineering or related technical area.

 

Previous scheduling experience desirable with P3e experience preferred

 

Education

A two-year technical degree is desirable, but not required.

 Additional Information
Travel to support NMC objectives and act as a member of the emergency response organization may be part of the requirements of this position. 

Candidates must satisfy all Company and Nuclear Regulatory Commission security requirements.
