Program Manager - GEAM Burkville, AL - Lexan

CITY: Burkville STATE: Alabama COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

Develop and implement productivity improvement projects throughout Lexan Manufacturing plant.

Heavy emphasis on energy reduction projects.

Perform cost analysis to determine project payback.

Input project cost data in customer's capital expense system to receive funding.

Lead Management of Change process for each project.

Coordinate contractors and outside engineering resources to design and build projects.

Work in multiple operational areas directly with engineers, operators, and technicians.

Qualifications/Requirements:

BSME/BSEE/BSCE

Minimum of 5 years experience in project engineering and management.

Ability to perform thermodynamic and electrical efficiency analysis.
Demonstrated ability to drive change.

Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

Working knowledge of computer (PC)software programs, i.e., MS Excel,Powerpoint, Word and internet tools.

CMMS working knowledge. (EMPAC)

Desired:

Chemical plant engineering and operations background.

Energy reduction program experience.

GE technology experience.

GB Certified (GE employees only).

Professional licensure or certification.
