GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This individual will assist the West Coast Controller with the administration of Del Mar Analytical?s collection policies within assigned regions in the manner which will minimize credit loss, contribute to profits, strengthen customer stability, provide prompt turnover and adequate protection of the company?s investments in accounts receivable.

JOB DUTIES:Direct responsibility for collections of all accounts receivable. Distribute weekly aging and make appropriate recommendations concerning collection procedures within company policy and procedures.Responsible for meeting monthly cash and aging goals and objectives and controlling bad debt losses.Responsible for receiving, preparing all incoming payments including EFT?s and Credit Card payments to the lock box. Prepare and make daily bank deposits. Daily maintenance of A/R reports which track daily receivables.Maintains and updates the daily A/R Analysis report and distribute to appropriate personnel.Process all credit applications, credit references, credit rating and payment verifications.Responsible for maintaining bankruptcy files and processing and appearing for all Small Claims proceedings.Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor?s degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university; one to two years? related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
