Entry-Level Environmental Laboratory Project Manager

Our clients include leading industrial companies, engineering and consulting firms, and government agencies. Our goal is to provide the highest quality analysis and service in the industry.

Currently we have an immediate opening for a full-time Project Manager in the Irvine, California Laboratory. This is a full-time, salaried position. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional hours may be required in order to provide outstanding customer service to client group. The Project Manager will report directly to the Project Management Department Manager.

The responsibilities for this position are as follows:Provide services to clients by handling multiple projects with varying time constraints. Provide technical support to clients through knowledge of laboratory capabilities and methods utilized. Investigate problems with appropriate personnel and drive a solution or explanation in a timely manner. Review work orders, completed laboratory reports, and subcontract data for accuracy and completeness to ensure quality, consistent with historicals. Maintain departmental goals regarding quality and turnaround times. Maintain and develop client relations by providing outstanding customer service via telephone and personal site visits.

The qualification for this position are as follows:Must have a B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering. Must have at least 2 years experience in the environmental field and at least of 1 year experience in the environmental laboratory field or extensive technical training. Must be able to exercise good judgement under pressure. Demonstrate flexibility & willingness to work needed hours to accomplish tasks. Strong understanding of client services, laboratory procedures & technical issues. Must be extremely detail oriented, possess exceptional organizational skills, & must manage paperwork meticulously. Possess a strong sense of urgency, a desire to always learn, & thrive in a challenging environment. Computer skills are desired.
