WHAT THE COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR:

 

~ An experienced professional to assist in the management of

  Safety, Health and Environmental programs.

~  Experience in an SHE role

~ BS degree in Safety & Environmental or science discipline

~ 3+ years Safety, and Environmental experience in a Manufacturing 

environment

Position Summary of Responsibilities:

 

~ Assist in the implementation and management of the SHE programs

and procedures.

~Coordinate activities and programs thoughout the plant to ensure

compliance with the Corporate office and with local regulations and

procedures.

~ Develop and implement employee SHE training programs

~ Manage Behavior Based Safety Program, ensuring goals are met.

~Perform annual and as needed trainings against required SHE areas,

  such as but not limited to HAZCOM, lockout/tagout, IIPP, Ergonomics

  and confined spaces.

~ Manage MSDS's.

~ Ensure compliance to all State and Federal Safety Regulatory agencies.

 

 

The selected candidate should have:

 

~  A high level of Root Cause Analysis

~  Strong leadership and facilitation skills

~  Ability to lead teams, challenge the status-quo

~  Have a good understanding of legal requirements

~  Excellent problem solving and the ability to identifiy areas for

  improvement.

~  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

~  Highly proficient with Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.

~  The ability to work without supervision.
