The successful candidate should have strong natural resource and/or biological resource background and excellent technical writing skills as well as management experience in environmental consulting.  Excellent benefits and salary are offered, commensurate with experience.

 

The position requires a BA/BS degree in a related field with 4 years direct experience in the Southwestern U.S. as well as excellent writing skills.  Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws, regulations, and ordinances is also required.  Position requires experience and knowledge of Federal legislation including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and the National Historic Preservation Act. Position requires preparation of NEPA documents, Biological Evaluations and Assessments, wetland delineations, and preparation of 404 permits.  Also knowledge of Pima/Pinal/Maricopa County ordinances, NPPO, and Sonoran Desert Conservation Plan and relationships with state and federal agencies are important. A willingness to do field work and a strong background in biological resources is preferred.
