Our Long Beach office is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental professional. A Certified Industrial Hygienist (or ability to attain certification within 3 months) is preferred. Candidates should be able to work in a team/matrixed environment in a highly professional manner. Job requirements include:

  a highly developed knowledge and ability to manage preventative safety and environmental practices and risk management; a demonstrated ability to deliver complete programs, procedures, effective education for others and competent analysis of safety data; knowledge of insurance and workers compensation administration; and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

 

Candidates should be self-directing and highly motivated with a strong client satisfaction mentality. Expert knowledge of OSHA standards/regulations and related environmental standards dealing with releases, remediation, hazardous substances and hazardous waster (Federal & multi-state) is also desired. Exerience with refineries or industrial sites with chemical processes is preferred.
