Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc., is an environmental consulting firm that provides professional services for the investigation, remediation and management of environmental problems. We are headquartered in Emeryville, California and have serviced sites throughout the western United States since 1994. Our core services are environmental site assessment, soil and groundwater investigation and remediation, environmental monitoring, regulatory negotiation, construction management for remediation projects, risk management and turn-key project management. We have characterized, remediated and achieved regulatory case closure for hundreds of contaminated sites.

To provide project management for a variety of clients and projects, with special emphasis on investigation and remediation of underground storage tank (UST) sites.

What you get to do:

? Design, construct and operate soil and groundwater remediation systems.  Hands-on experience with remediation system construction and operation preferred.

? Manage subcontractors and oversee construction and operation of remediation systems.

? Prepare and submit remedial action plans, system designs, proposals, compliance reports, and performance data packages to clients and regulatory agencies.

? Conduct short and long-term pilot studies to evaluate the effectiveness of various remedial technologies.

? Interpret pilot study data and make recommendations based on data.

? Prepare budgets for various remediation projects.

? Interact with clients, regulatory and permitting agencies, etc.

? Prepare and review client-specific health and safety plans, and work within established client-specific health and safety guidelines.

? Management and oversight for projects, working with dedicated and shared staff.

? Provide mentoring to junior staff.

? Assist with business development, proposals, and cost estimates, as needed.

Other Duties:
Identify and develop methods and processes to improve group efficiency and/or client satisfaction. Identify and stay current with technical and regulatory developments in the industry.

What we are looking for:

? BS in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
? 5+ years in industry with emphasis on investigation and hydrocarbon remediation design, installation and operation.
? 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-hour Refresher.
? California Professional Engineer License Preferred.
? Must be able to speak and write clearly and concisely in the English language.
? Must possess a valid drivers' license and own vehicle for use to travel to various sites.
