SENIOR STAFF/PROJECT GEOLOGIST

?

This position may be in either Oakland or Sacramento.? The successful candidate will be responsible?for providing geology/hydrogeology leadership on assessment and remediation projects; interfacing with project managers, client managers, regulators, field technicians, and subcontract construction personnel. Duties include performing technical evaluations; scoping and implementing site assessment programs; managing staff and subcontractor activities to ensure quality and job safety. Job duties will involve both field and office assignments that include site investigation, feasibility studies, pilot testing, construction/contractor oversight, environmental permitting services, and other related tasks. Relevant experience should include writing technical reports; knowledge of relevant governmental regulations; project scheduling and development of project task cost estimates, and/or familiarity with remediation technologies designed to address petroleum hydrocarbons and other contaminants in groundwater and soils. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize several assignments at one time and be committed to delivering technically sound work products on time and on budget.? A B.S. in geology, hydrogeology, or environmental studies and 2-5 years experience.
