ATC Associates presently has the following immediate opening at our Sacramento, CA location.

 

Sr Project Geologist

Candidate will interface with ATC Management and/or clients to arrange schedules, maintain communications as projects progress; arranges for and conducts field investigations and gathers data; interprets data and observations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry guidelines. Assists in directing the drilling of exploratory borings and wells; assists in the oversight of the installation of wells in accordance with state and federal requirements; collects or supervises collection of soils and groundwater samples for analysis of chemical composition; assists in pilot testing and collects operational data from remediation systems; evaluates data and prepares technical reports.

 

 

BA or BS from an accredited college/university with a minimum of 2 years of of related experience.  Requires excellent oral and written communications skills, time management, and client relations skills; the ability to analyze and interpret complex scientific journals, reports and legal documents and work with mathematical concepts such as probability statistical inference.  Required:  Current OSHA 40 hr HazWoper, EIT, REA or other applicable registrations.
