Subsidiary Environmental Coordinator
All environmental aspects of facilities assigned and other duties as assigned. Examples are, but not all inclusive - Federal, State, and local environmental and related compliance, reporting, stewardships and all related programs. Assisting and/or develops facility plans including Asbestos Operations and Maintenance, PCB equipment O&M, Process Safety Management/Risk Management Programs for refrigeration, emergency response, chemical handling procedures, SPCC, SWPPP, FIFRA, RICRA, EPCRA, environmental management, wastewater O&M, air compliance, lead-based paint, chemical usage and disposal, wastwater chemical and operations.
Filing with Federal, State, and local authorities: Tier I and II forms including applicable MSDS; Form R's (Sara 313) including applicable MSDS; air emission reports; stormwater contamination; petroleum spills; stormwater discharge monitoring reports; groundwater testing results; underground storage tank financial certification; registration of above-ground storage tanks; semi-annual compliance reports (Title V); NRC reporting.
Training in accordance with associated plans: Stormwater Pollution Prevention; Spill Containment and Control; Asbestos Awareness; Lead-based paint.
Completing application and renewals for stormwater permits (including updating site diagrams, updating SWPPP), Title V air permits (including additions and expansions), wastewater permits, temporary generator status exemptions.
Maintaining organizational structures at each facility regarding environmental management system and emergency response.
Conducting and/or scheduling quarterly stormwater inspections, weekly facility site survey, AST inspections (including painting and placarding), asbestos surveys and sampling, lead-based paint sampling, and on-site inspections with Federal, State, and local authorities.
Participating in facility programs such as Hazmat teams, water conservation teams, management reviews for EMS, monthly (or more frequently) EMS team meetings, and community outreach programs such as World Water Monitoring Day, clean the Bay, Businesses for the Bay, etc.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Related Degree preferred with one to three years experience, or three to five years experience. Travel required. Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems. Organized, good communication skills with all levels, work well with others, team oriented with strong work ethic.
