The mission of Providence Speech and Hearing Center is to provide the highest quality services available in the identification, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of speech, language and hearing disorders for persons of all ages.

Chief Executive Officer

We are searching for a dynamic mission oriented Chief Executive Officer to take our organization to the next level of service and excellence.  The CEO is responsible for oversight of all functions of the Center. The CEO will represent the Center in the community at large, the Healthcare community and in the donor community with all foundations and state organizations.

Candidates must have the ability to promote the Center?s public image on both a local and national level. The CEO must insure oversight of all clinical, legal, ethical compliance with all governing agencies.  The CEO will also direct the focus of fundraising efforts including major gifts, planned giving, and annual fundraising activities.  The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to insure clinical excellence and achievement of financial goals.

Qualifications:

Candidates should meet all the minimum requirements for an administrative clinical position: preferably a California license in Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology and Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-A or CCC-SP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing ASHA.  Other clinical expertise/healthcare experience could include:  Nursing, Clinical therapist such as Occupational or Physical Therapist, Psychologist or medical Social Worker.   Minimum of five years of post-graduate clinical experience is required.  Candidates must have a thorough understanding of budgeting and financial management.  Proven success leading fund raising efforts is a requirement.  Previous experience in an Executive leadership role with experience developing a leadership team is highly desired.
