JOB SUMMARY


Responsible to promote franchise trust and growth through focused support and guidance, while enhancing the brand and encouraging creativity to improve the system all in accordance with Company policy, vision and mission. Provides direction and accountability to assigned franchise area related to management issues, increasing the client base, revenues and net earnings. Provides leadership and guidance to assigned Franchise District Managers and large multi-unit franchisees, and the offices located within the assigned area.


Minimum Requirements
Bachelor?s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience;
Minimum of 7+ years of progressive business experience including experience in strategic planning, budgeting and project management;
Four years of experience supervising associates in positions requiring different levels of education and experience;
Demonstrated understanding of the franchisor/franchisee relationship while helping franchisees understand their role in building market share for the whole system;
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of field management's role at all levels;
Effective verbal and written communications skills, public relations skills, detail-oriented, math and analytical skills;
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and negotiate with individuals within a direct and indirect reporting relationship structure;
Excellent short-term and long-range planning skills;
Ability to make independent decisions; assume complete responsibility for his/her work and decisions;
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; and
Ability to operate a computer and applicable software packages.
Preferred Qualifications
Four years of experience as a District Manager or Franchise District Manager;
Field management experience or exposure to and understanding of the H&R Block field operations;
Demonstrated knowledge of H&R Block Field Automated Systems; and
Project management skills and knowledge of Microsoft Project Management software.
