General Manager - Distribution/Sales

Excellent opportunity with a leader in wholesale distribution of building material to run our office Northern California.  We are looking for an energetic person who has experience driving operations, sales and P&L for maximum efficiency and revenue.  Experience in the trades is a plus but we will train the right person.

 

Job Description:

?  Oversees all aspects of profit center (operations, sales, admin, etc.)

?  Determines the nature of profitable versus non-profitable business through precise decision making and trend

  analysis

?  Works closely with Credit dept. to determine adequate account base

?  Deals directly with corporate office on matters that concern day to day branch functions

?  Develops plans for increased branch profitability

?  Provides training to all staff

?  Oversees all branch personnel to assure that they are reaching their full potential.

?  Responsible for building and maintaining morale in the branch

?  Demonstrates leadership qualities and sets an example for staff

?  Acts as support line for all departments

?  Communicates regularly with manufacturers to establish and maintain strong relationships
