Position Description:
The Regional Records/Information Manager provides expertise and knowledge in regard to the highest quality of records/information management, including compliance/risk management, electronic records, legal/regulatory issues, privacy and standards/best practices. This individual, on behalf of our client, is responsible for implementing efficient processes for timely retrieval and disposal of recorded information.

Responsibilities:
?Support ongoing sales efforts to provide quality, profitable records service proposals that result in cost savings, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and reduced litigation risk for the prospective client.
?Work with Operations to design, develop and insure high quality records services.
?Assess client business needs including manual and/or automated records systems to define a current state, future state vision, gap, solution, project plan and ROI.
?Establish quality control metrics, measures and reporting that support client goals and objectives.

?Develop programs for the distribution, retrieval and storage of active & inactive records, including new technologies.
?Create and consult on the maintenance of databases for the control and retrieval of information.
?Develop disaster recovery plans that ensure the necessary information to continue functioning in the event of a major disaster.
?Define and oversee processing, sorting, classification and coding of materials for configuration of systems.
?Build relationship with external vendors and coordinate the implementation of their products and services.
?Formulate and implement practices, rules, policies and procedures for storage, retrieval, preservation and destruction of records.
?Design and deliver training on records management practices, rules, policies and procedures.
?Oversee implementation of all aspects of the client records management program.

?Monitor and Audit the records and information management program processes and support.
?Recommend solutions that provide timely referencing and retrieval of needed information.
?Advise operations staff about on-site and off-site components of the records support.
?Advise clients in controlling costs associated with information creation, storage and retrieval.
?Ensure all aspects of record keeping, destruction and archiving adhere to corporate policy.
?Work with on-site operations staff to ensure that systems satisfy information requirements.
?Work with management to communicate the importance and status of records program.
?Assign and manage special project teams to continuously improve the records program.
Qualifications:
?Bachelors Degree preferred
?ARMA Member required / Certified Records Manager (CRM) preferred
?8-10 years of records information management experience
?Prior consulting experience in the area of records management preferred
?Expert in manual/automated records management systems and emerging technology
?Expert in making good decisions based on analysis, experience, and professional judgment
?Expert in researching, gathering, arranging, compiling, interpreting, summarizing, and evaluating complex, intangible data
?Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

?Excellent presentation skills
?Communicate effectively with diverse groups and clients
?Exhibit ability to establish personal credibility with customers/staff
?Ability to execute and deliver the highest quality and production
?Ability to meet deadlines and understand the time issues involved in records request handling
?Advanced administrative, record keeping and time management skills
?Personify corporate values in support of customer service objectives
?Excellent written and oral communication skills
?Work closely with user base to evaluate, research and recommend solutions
?Knowledgeable in laws such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, HIPAA Privacy, etc.
?Ability to work well with others at all levels and also work well on own
?Ability to gather data, perform research and produce a retention schedule
