Regional Vice President - Wholesale

Manages all aspects of the Wholesale Conforming Business Line within assigned region to the desired level of loan volume and profitability. Promotes increased quality broker production volume in assigned region through the effective management of the Sales and Operations force, client development, sales and marketing planning, staff training, and product design.

1. Assures Business Development plans and procedures are in place to meet loan production budget.

2. Controls expenses and manages Operation per Business Plan to meet pre-tax profit budget.

3. Hires, trains, and conducts performance reviews on direct reports in accordance with Company policy.

4. Develops/manages marketing programs with Corporate Marketing and vendors and makes changes as necessary to ensure business objectives are met.

5. Manages sales force and oversees all broker relationships.

6. Manages production center processes, workflow and productivity efficiencies (processing, underwriting and funding). Exceeds loan service and loan quality expectations.

7. Becomes active in professional organizations to further advance MLN's knowledge, opportunities and visibility in the industry and the region.

8. Acts as primary liaison with Wholesale Conforming senior business line manager as it relates to wholesale conforming specific products, service, pricing, marketing and compliance.

Education:
BA degree in business, sales, marketing or related field.

Experience/Training:
6+ years experience in comparable environment (mortgage banking, consumer finance, etc.) in sales, operations or underwriting management
4+ years management experience in comparable environment.

Demonstrated ability in sales, operations and/or underwriting management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational background
Ability to motivate operations and sales staff to meet and exceed goals
