VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AND MARKETING

SUMMARY

 

Palecek, a leading supplier of crafted furniture, accessories and lighting, seeks a proven sales leader with strong business and leadership skills to plan and direct all aspects of the company?s sales and marketing strategies, objectives, and initiatives.  This position will be responsible to create and execute the sales plan to fulfill growth and profit objectives; to maximize sales through effective territory management; and to oversee the marketing function by identifying and executing key marketing outlets and competitive strategies.  In addition, this person will be a member of the executive committee and corporate strategy group.

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 Develop and execute business strategies that will maximize market opportunities. Create and implement strategic sales and marketing objectives. Execute sales plan to achieve maximum sales volume and profitability Oversee the management of sales teams and their territories. Assess new markets and propose new business opportunities. Evaluate and direct licensing initiatives and programs to include negotiating contracts, initiating proposals, and closing deals. Provide input for new product and new product strategies.Operate within the approved sales, budget and business plans.

 

Qualifications

 

Excellent personal, leadership, and business skills are a must.  At least 10 years of experience in the field with expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. This position will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
