Looking For a Great Leader!
Vice President of Childcare Services
As the leader of an Association wide Childcare Leadership Team, the Vice President of Childcare Services leads the operations for 52 state licensed school-age child care programs within 6 school districts in the county serving over 3200 children each day and summer day camp programs. The Vice President leads and directs a dynamic team of full-time Associate Executive Directors who operate out of 6 YMCA branches to provide high-quality, fiscally sound school-age programs and to become nationally accredited for high quality programming. The YMCA Childcare and kindergarten programs operate year round and are funded through program fees, YMCA scholarships and through Latchkey and Federal Block grants.
Education, Training and Experience
4 year degree in Child Development or related field with 15 ECE Units.10 years experience successfully providing oversight to child care programs at multiple locations. Experience working with school districts, community groups and volunteers.Experience managing state and federal grants.Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook).Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook).

Current training and development techniques working with Gen X and Gen Y employees.

Develop and retain a team of childcare professionals that deliver high quality, fiscally sound school-age programsGrow and expand school-age childcare and summer day camp programs throughout Southern California.Strengthen partnerships with school districts and community groups.Achieve NAA accreditation of all childcare centersActive Parent Advisory Councils at all YMCA Child Care Programs.Alignment of the YMCA vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
Compensation Package
$ 82,000.00 - $95,000.00
