Associate Director Financial Reporting

Dynamic Entertainment company in Los Angeles is looking for an Associate Director of Financial Reporting. Candidate will perform key financial reporting, budgeting / forecasting and operating support functions in an energetic, team environment.

Responsibilities will include:
Corporate cash flow and financial reporting process, including monthly financial statement preparation, quarterly footnote packages, ultimates, account reconciliations, other financial controls, and corporate budgeting and forecasting.
Interacting with senior financial and operational management, in addition to production finance personnel, distribution entities, and several other Fox groups.

Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess 7+ year's work experience within an accounting function, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Must possess strong supervisory and accounting skills, in addition to advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Must also be pro-active and have the ability to work independently, as well as possess strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal). Candidates must be organized, focused, and articulate, with the ability to interact confidently with Senior Management.
Must also have the ability to operate in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. CPA and prior experience in either public accounting (Big 4) or entertainment is strongly desired, and experience with PeopleSoft is a big plus.
