Finance Director/Business Unit Controller

Our Client, a public company and a global manufacturer of specialty chemicals and materials is seeking a Finance Director and Business Unit Controller to work closely with the VP-Corp. Controller/Investor Relations. This individual will have at least 12 to 15 years? financial experience, with three to five of those years in a senior leadership position. Manufacturing experience is ideal. This person will be a key member of the Leadership Team and participate on the Talent Review Council. (S)he will be an experienced leader, able to operate at senior management levels.

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance; it is highly preferred to have either a CPA/CMA or MBA. (S)he will have experience in Accounting in a manufacturing environment of a public company as well as experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and external reporting. Experience with international operations and basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP is also important. The successful candidate will be high energy, high integrity and ethics, be process oriented with a strong business focus, and have strong ?business partner? and ?change management? skills.
