Finance Manager

FINANCE MANAGER

Finance Manager will partner with business unit managers and executives to develop accurate budgets and operating forecasts. Develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control. Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, and trended future requirements.

 

Responsibilities: Work with analytical business modeling concepts to determine appropriate pricing and costing of programs and functions. Coordinate with accounting staff to ensure accurate financial results, and provide variance analysis from budgets and forecasts. Establish databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.

 

Requires working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, procedures and practices within finance and accounting. Experience with business process improvement functions

Ability to understand and work with cost accounting and cost allocation principles. Requires ability to work with financial reporting software (Cognos Finance, Hyperion Essbase, or similar)

 

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years experience, or Master's Degree and 3-5 years experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
