Financial Analyst

$1 Billion Distribution Company in suburban Philadelphia is in need of 2 - 3 experienced Financial Analysts to develop and perform complex sales, pricing and forecasting analyses. Responsibilities:

 

?  Use the company?s data warehouse and business performance management systems to create management reports and perform complex analysis and modeling to assess operational performance, customer profitability, product profitability, and project profitability.

?  Provide a variety of models and financial analyses, including cost/benefit, net present value, pricing and forecasting

?  Evaluate business initiatives, capital investments, and new services

?  Participate in the annual budgeting process and prepare and oversee budgets

?  Present business cases, monitor and promote financial accountability, track project and departmental costs, and deliver regular budget status reports to upper management

 

Requirements:

?  Bachelor?s degree with a concentration in business, finance, accounting, engineering or mathematics. MBA preferred.

?  4 - 10 years experience with increasing responsibility in performing detailed analysis for management in support of decision-making.

?  Strong analytical, quantitative and data management skills, with the ability to look at information creatively and develop proposals for process improvements based on findings from the data.

?  Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and data management required. Working knowledge of Business Objects or other data warehouse system is a plus

?  Strong verbal/written communication skills.

?  Must be team oriented individual who works well with others in various levels and departments (Purchasing, Sales, Pricing, Distribution, Finance and IT).

?  Energetic, motivated and self directed.

 

The ideal candidate has prior experience in both traditional consulting and traditional financial analysis roles.
