This candidate will perform strategic business research and analysis for all aspects of the company data. In addition, this candidate will provide consultation, coordination, and staff support to strategic committees.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 Conducts financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning within a specific department. Interprets, evaluates, and interrelates research data, and develops integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making. Conducts market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required, and presents findings of studies to senior management. Performs specified data analyses and studies as requested, and develops and presents ad hoc reports in support of various initiatives. Conducts special research and/or survey initiatives related to specific research goals and/or marketing directives. Provides consultative, technical, and staff support, as appropriate, to senior management. Coordinates, and evaluates the results of external comparative rating firms. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience. 2-3 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Knowledge and appreciation of business concepts and requirements as applicable to an. insurance company.Ability to develop and prepare business analysis and plans.Ability to work independently.Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.Ability to create, compose and edit written material.Ability to develop and deliver presentations.Proficient in the use of computerized spreadsheet, relational database, and word processing software.
