The Internal Audit Construction Professional performs services for client engagements on-site as assigned. Responsibilities include researching & consulting on various IA & controls & construction audit services. Conduct the following tasks: construction audit & advisory, contract compliance, COSO-based enterprise financial risk assessments, financial reporting audits, fraud & forensic investigations, IA co-sourcing & outsourcing, operational audits, regulatory compliance, & SOX compliance. Conduct special studies for clients to discover mechanics of detected fraud & develop controls for fraud prevention & review & evaluate accounting systems to determine the adequacy of controls in practice.
Bachelor's degree, preferable in accounting/finance or a related field; Minimum 7 years experience in the general area of internal audit & controls; Experience in internal controls, fraud risk management, fraud handling or litigation support is preferred; Strong communication & customer service skills; & Certification CIA, CPA, CA CISA, CFA or equivalent preferred &/or MBA or equivalent, preferred. Responsible for remaining professional at all times including confidentiality, accountability, & performance of quality work within deadlines; follow engagement methodologies; complete projects as assigned & maintain a certain level of utilization; & target to record 45 client-billable hours each week.
